Регистрационный номер: A59-96 The hulk shown here was a Ventura and the roundel is still visible. While there is an airworthy Ventura in existence in Australia, it came from the USA in 1988. This one was photographed in 1988 and we have forgotten where it was. It must have been somewhere between Indooroopilly and Coolangatta. We are sure this will narrow it down to an area the size of Wales. Is it being restored and which one was it?
The Ventura fuselage in the last issue was A59-96 and the location has been identified as Tallebudgera, Queensland, in a museum called Wings of Yesteryear, by Dave Vincent and Wynnum Graham. Ron Cuskelly adds that it is now with the Queensland Air Museum at Caloundra.Самолёты на фотографии: Lockheed B-34 Lexington / PV Ventura / PV-2 Harpoon - США - 1941
